It snowed for the first time in Boston last week. It was the middle of the night and I didn't think to go outside and get photos, but it was really pretty from the window.
I got a new camera, nothing fancy, just a Canon Powershot point and shoot.
Next semester is going to be crazy. I'll be taking so many photos I'm not sure if my computer will even be able to hold them all. I'm doing a study abroad, Semester at Sea (
[link] ), through the University of Virginia. It starts in Nassau, The Bahamas and goes around the world, stopping in places like Brazil, South Africa, India, China, and Japan. I wish I had an SLR camera, but it would be tough to lug it around...

I almost never set out to photograph a landscape, nor do I think of my camera as a means of recording a mountain or an animal unless I absolutely need a 'record shot'. My first thought is always of light. -Galen Rowell

I want to know how God created this world. I am not intrested in this or that phenomenon. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details.
